Who:

Philip Macedo is a well traveled designer. Having grown up in Tokyo, Japan, and traveled extensively (to this day); I've been to well over 10 countries across 4 continents. I have always had an artistic passion, and converted this digitally when I was young. In a nutshell, I’m a designing trekker that likes to contemplate how to take over the world with simplistic designs and business plans! However unlike a lot of designers, I do have a short list of fellow designers; that when needed may be called upon for their specialties. I do not see why one person should try to accomplish every minute detail of a project, when it can be done more speedily and professionally when others can be called in to make the web markup, or professionally done video effects.

What:

I have various skills, most striking would be in form of layout and minimalism. Not everything requires flashy colors and lights. Instead a perfect balance will leave a more understated but just as effective impact upon a client and their audience. I don't take every job, I'll be upfront if something is not within my scope. However I do have strong skills in layout (print + web), digital manipulation, flash animations, and most print design. With the peculiarities such as Powerpoint Presentations, and custom MS office stationary can also be done. Clean cut video editing can also be handled, especially useful for online broadcasting.

When:

I do not have "office" hours, but do religiously check my e-mail, and can provide alternative contact means (Skype) if requested (see above). However all projects will be done in a timely manner, given in the design proposal; after getting exact specifics from you.

Where:

A coffee shop somewhere. Honestly, I'm currently in Tokyo, Japan. I do travel frequently, or change base of operations, so time-zones may vary. Regardless, this always keeps my designs fresh, as the different atmospheres will lead to new and interesting results!

Why:

To take over the world! As the wise brain and pinky put it:
"Pinky: Gee, Brain, what are we going to do tonight?
Brain: The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world!"
I also enjoy designing a lot. Which is why I take on only certain projects, which I know the results will be up to my standards. Which is a win-win situation between me and my clients!
